Nursing Clinics
Nursing Clinics
We offer a variety of free nursing clinics to our clients.
Dental
Does your pet’s breath smell? Perhaps they need a dental clean and polish. Our veterinary nurses will give your pet a thorough oral examination to look for dental disease and gingivitis (gum disease). They will also arrange a post dental examination for your pet.
Weight Clinics
We check your pet’s weight, discuss ideal weight, plan a weight loss routine, attend a regular weight clinic to monitor progress and have a healthier and happier pet.
Flea/worming treatments
Dogs and cats can suffer from a wide range of parasitic infections, both internal (worms) and external (fleas/ticks etc). Not only do these parasites cause discomfort, they can also carry more serious health risks to both pets and people. Please discuss the most suitable protocol for your pet’s parasite prevention with our team.
Post neutering clinics
Here at Advanced Pet Care we recommend all pets are spayed/neutered at an appropriate age for their species/breed. After surgery our nurses will keep track of your pet’s ongoing recovery, health, weight gain and nutrition in our post neuter nursing clinic. This includes post operative wound checks and weigh ins.
Wound Checks
All pets undergoing surgical procedures at Advanced Pet Care are scheduled for regular post operative checks to ensure optimum healing, and to address any queries or concerns you may have about your pet’s recovery.
Puppy socialisation clinics
Early socialisation is crucial to ensure that your dog is equipped with the skills they need to appropriately interact with other dogs and people throughout life. Puppies are invited to attend a “party” here at the clinic when all vaccinations have been completed. This allows your puppy to meet a variety of other dogs in a safe environment. Puppy parties are scheduled regularly, please ask a member of our team if you would like to attend.
